    …Well, as self-proclaimed captain of Team Frosting, this is a tough one. I do a lot of healthy baking at home, and it’s a bit tricky to make a relatively healthy cake that still has all of the flavor and appeal. So: especially for this time of year, I’m going to go with a 3-layer angel food cake with a filling/(top) frosting of fruit preserves, lemon curd, cream cheese mixture… whatever floats your boat. Then, topped with fresh berries. Maybe a few mint leaves for garnish, if you wanna get fancy.
    Oh! Also, lemon poppyseed cake and carrot cake, too. ?

  26. My favorite flavor of birthday cake is Red Velvet, but not just any recipe. I like the kind that doesn’t have cocoa; it’s more like a spice cake.

Hands down… Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Icing!… Or perhaps a lovely Sour Cream Pound Cake with fresh strawberries & whipped cream… But, White Cake with Caramel Icing is wonderful, too!… And, of course, my Mom’s absolutely delicious Cheesecake… Hmm… Is that a cake or a pie?! Oh, well…

    Obviously, my favorite cake is CAKE!…
