Monday Moments with DIY Patriotic Decorations

I like patriotic decorations some where in my home all year long. I love the history of our great country and what we stand for.  But, with the 4th of July coming up, we all like to really show some patriotic spirit.  Here are a few DIY ideas for inspiration.

Who doesn’t have tin cans around the house at some point.  I love this idea and would make really nice table decorations. Crafts for All Seasons has all the skinny on how to make these cute tin can luminaries.

This pillow is just adorable and something I would love to make.  Taking craps of material and buttons to make a really sweet mini flag. Emily Anns Kloset calls this beauty a Scrappy American Flag Pillow.

Houseful of Handmade shows us how to make a distressed sign for your porch or front yard. This would really make a statement.

Lolly Jane never disappoints me with their craft ideas and this painted Patriotic Flower Pot is no exception. Easy to make and several of these sitting around with red, white and blue flowers will really be beautiful.

Everyone needs a tray for their table, so how about a Star Spangled Rustic Tray by The Scrap Shoppe Blog. Perfect for snacks or for a center piece on a table.
