A low carb version of the famous Pink Drink from the coffee shop you will love and it’s sugar-free!
I have something to drink all the time with me. Mainly water most of the day, but sometimes I love to have something different.
When I started my low-carb lifestyle, I knew I couldn’t go to the coffee shop and get some of my favorite drinks because they were all so full of sugar. But, that didn’t stop me from finding something new. So, I did some investigating.
The main ingredient flavor of the Pink Drink is Passion Tea. It’s such a lovely taste, especially when it’s hot outside and you need something refreshing. The brand I use is called Tazo and comes in small and large brewing bags.
I brew a large bag and pour into a 32oz container that came with my Nutri Bullet. I then add water to fill the container and set it in the fridge.
When I’m ready for a refreshing drink, I take a wide-mouth mason jar and add almost half full with the passion tea. I then add a good splash of cream and 3 splashes of sugar-free vanilla. I then take my hand frother to stir it up well and to add a bit of foam on the top. The cream seems to blend better with the tea using a frother. I will then add a couple of cubes of ice and fill the jar with a bit more water to the top. You could also add a few slices of strawberries to make it more authentic.
TIP: When using a frother, don’t fill up your glass/jar over halfway full with liquid because it will spill over the sides.

This drink sounds delicious. I will have to make it but will use coconut milk instead of the cream due to a milk alergy.
