The evenings are getting cooler and it’s time to gear up for a backyard bonfire party. Check out the latest gear to use
Fall is floating in the air and I hope I can catch it soon to enjoy here in Central Florida. But with the falling leaves, pumpkin and apple picking, tailgating at football games, roasting marshmallows, and bonfires, I’m itching to get outside and enjoy the cooler nights. So, let’s gear up for the next bonfire backyard party we all love this time of the year.
Preparing for a backyard bonfire party shouldn’t be a chore. Just gather some seating and throws and head out to the fire pit. Don’t forget your drinks, mugs, outdoor games, tools for roasting, and items to roast. Here is my list of some gear to help you prepare for your next outdoor party.
Let’s get this party started!
Let there be light! So important for getting around in the dark. This vintage-looking lantern is rechargeable and is also perfect for camping or if the lights go out.
Do you have a small yard but still want a nice presentation for a fire pit? Here is the perfect solution of a 29″ concrete pit. I love the edge around it for protection for the kids and to set items on.
I love this firewood carrier. Not only is it great for bringing firewood in the house, but it can be used to carry to your fire pit. It’s supersized to carry several pieces of wood.
Don’t forget the portable seating for around the fire pit. Even though these are wicker-style chairs, they are made for the outdoors and are lightweight.
Have several of these fleece throws to have on hand to cuddle up with when the air is a bit nippy. It comes in many sizes, colors, soft, and snuggly. The throw size is what I have.
I love anything galvanized and this 3-tier stand is perfect to hold all your s’ more making goodies. There is one tier for marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate bars. Easy to carry, durable, and lightweight.
How about this clever idea of a tree marshmallow roaster? Easy way to roast multiple marshmallows at one time. Next time all the kids want their s’ mores right now, you will have several roasted marshmallows to hand out.
How about a 64 oz insulated growler bottle to hold your hot cocoa? This bottle will hold enough for several people. It will keep that cocoa hot for 12 hours, but I don’t see it lasting that long.
These ceramic campfire mugs are made for a backyard bonfire. Sturdy, tough and comes in several colors, but this burnt orange is perfect for fall.
For those who enjoy a different kind of beverage, you can’t go wrong with a Coleman cooler bag. It can carry up to 16 cans or any other item you need to keep cool.
If your fire pit isn’t far from the back porch, these lights would really make a special presentation. They are great to hang in the trees too.
What are your ideas for backyard bonfire parties?
