Whether it’s a Friday night treat or a quick lunch, these recipes will satisfy your cravings without the carb crash.

If you’ve been craving pizza but trying to stay on track with your low-carb lifestyle, I’ve got great news! You don’t have to give up your favorite comfort food! Thanks to the air fryer, you can make perfectly crispy, cheesy, and satisfying low-carb pizzas in just minutes. Whether you’re watching carbs for health reasons or want a lighter meal, these recipes are easy, fast, and packed with flavor.
Why Make Pizza in the Air Fryer?
Air fryers are perfect for low-carb cooking. They use hot air circulation to crisp up ingredients without excess oils, which means less grease and fewer calories. Plus, your pizza cooks in just a few minutes, no need to heat up the oven or wait for delivery!
Low Carb Crust Options
Before we dive into the recipes, let’s talk crust. A good low-carb pizza starts with a smart base:
- Almond Flour Crust: A nutty, gluten-free alternative that crisps beautifully in the air fryer.
- Cauliflower Crust: Made from riced cauliflower, cheese, and egg — it’s light, flavorful, and veggie-packed.
- Fathead Dough: A keto favorite made with mozzarella, cream cheese, egg, and almond flour. Chewy, cheesy, and oh-so-good.
- Mini Pepperoni Rounds or Portobello Mushrooms: Skip the crust entirely! Use large pepperoni slices or mushroom caps as a base for bite-sized pizzas.
- Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza: Using a low-carb tortilla as the crust, you get a perfectly crispy base in just minutes without using dough. Simply layer on your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings, then air fry until golden and bubbly.
Here are a few easy low-carb air Fryer pizza recipes:

Classic Fathead Air Fryer Pizza

- 1 egg
- ¼ cup low-carb pizza sauce
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)
- Favorite toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, etc.)
- Melt the mozzarella and cream cheese together in a microwave-safe bowl (about 45 seconds). Stir until smooth.
- Add almond flour and egg, mix into a dough.
- Roll into a thin circle and pre-bake in the air fryer at 375°F for 5 minutes.
- Add sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Air fry another 5–6 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Cauliflower Crust Air Fryer Pizza
- 2 cups riced cauliflower (fresh or frozen, squeezed dry)
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 egg
- Salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
- Toppings of choice
- Mix cauliflower, cheese, egg, and seasoning into a crust mixture.
- Press into a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes until golden.
- Add sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Air fry another 4–5 minutes until cheese melts.

Air Fryer Mini Pepperoni Bites (No Crust!)
- Large or small slices of pepperoni
- Shredded mozzarella
- Low-carb pizza sauce
- Place pepperoni slices in the air fryer basket.
- Top each with a dab of sauce and cheese.
- Air fry at 370°F for 4–5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Serve with a side of ranch or marinara for dipping.

Air Fryer Tortilla Pizza
- 1 low-carb tortilla (8-inch works best)
- 2–3 tablespoons low-carb pizza sauce or marinara
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Favorite toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, etc.)
- Olive oil spray
- Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper (optional)
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Lightly spray both sides of the tortilla with olive oil and place it in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 2 minutes to crisp it slightly before adding toppings.
- Spread sauce evenly over the tortilla, sprinkle on cheese, and add your favorite toppings.
- Return the pizza to the basket and cook at 375°F for 4–6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
- Carefully remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes if desired, slice, and enjoy!
Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Pizzas
- Don’t overload with toppings — too much can make your crust soggy.
- Preheat your air fryer for the crispiest crust.
- Line the basket with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Watch closely! Air fryers vary, and pizza can go from perfect to crispy in a flash.
Low-carb eating doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor or comfort food. With these Air Fryer Pizza Recipes, you can enjoy your favorite slice hot, cheesy, and perfectly crisp at any time.

These all sound AH-mazing! The flathead dough crust is really calling to me!
I have never tried making pizza in the air fryer but I will definitely give it a go. I love that idea of using mushroom caps as the base for mini pizzas.
I used to do wrap pizzas often when I was being better with my food. Another one I used to use was powdered mash in a pot, I’d mix it up and make a circular pizza shape and top that with things. Looking back on it though it doesn’t sound as tasty as I remember x
