It’s officially summer time!!! Well, by the calendar that is and it started at 12:38pm EDT today. Some will say, like me, that summer heat started a long time ago and there are some of you still having chilly days. I’m envious for a bit of a chill.
I hope everyone is enjoying outside or maybe inside when its too hot, all that yummy summer food, baseball, swimming and being out of school or maybe enjoying a fun vacation. So, how about a bright and cheery printable to enjoy this summer.
Click on the download link above to save the pdf file to your computer to print on cardstock. The printable is 8 x 10 and you will have to trim the excess off the picture by cutting along the light gray lines.
I thought this was interesting from the Farmers Almanac –
The timing of the solstice depends on when the Sun reaches its farthest point north of the equator.
The word solstice is from the Latin solstitium, from sol(sun) and stitium (to stop), reflecting the fact that the Sun appears to stop at this time (and again at the winter solstice).
Enjoy livin easy this summer,
Tammy
