Play Games Together!
I love this idea. Playing games together. enjoying the time together and you often find out things about your loved one while playing games. For instance. My hubby cannot play charades. It would be a good idea not to ever put him on your team. 😉
Hubby and I do love playing Scrabble. He is very good at this game and someday, I will beat him. Yes, I will. But first, he has to admit the ES is a Scrabble word. I use too many small words and that’s why I can never win. Hubby is very analytical and can always analyze the plays on the board much better than I can.
Is winning important? Not for us, but it would be nice just to win once!
Here are a few games for couples:
There are also some really great ideas on Pinterest for a couples games.
I remember playing Jenga with my son all those years ago and this is such a cute idea by Tried & True. This game is actually for the whole family but also could be played by a couple. She bought all her items for this game from the Dollar Store and wrote love theme instructions on each of the blocks. She has a printable of ideas for the blocks. A must-see.
Enjoy a game together for a stay-at-home date night.
Do small things with great love!
I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!

I wish my husband will play Scrabble with me, he tired of losing everytime….hehe! Thanks for sharing at The Weekend Retreat, Hope to see you back on Thursday!
Maybe you need to play my husband in Scrabble and I can play your husband and we might be even in playing skills. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by
I love playing games. I can win at Boggle and sometimes at phase 10 but he beats me in every other game. Still our playfulness and competitive natures help us feel like college kids falling in love. 🙂
Forgot to say I was visiting from the SITS commentathon but think we are blogging buddies too 🙂
Nice game suggestions – my fiance and I enjoy playing videogames together. Mario Kart is especially fun! Or taking turns on word games on the iPad 🙂
