Some Tips for Picking the Perfect Back to School Backpack
One of the items we purchase for school is a really good backpack. I still carry a smaller version of a backpack and so does my son who has been out of school now for quite sometime. Its just easier to carry everything. Here are Some Tips for Picking the Perfect Back to School Backpack –
- Don’t overdo it – 10% – 15% of a kids body weight is the max to put in a backpack. If there are heavy books they should be carried separately.
- The backpack should fit as close to the back as possible – no larger than 2 inches below the shoulder and 4” below the waist
- Straps should be padded – the straps should be thick and padded to help distribute the weight evenly. Some backpacks come with extra straps in the front to help stabilize the pack. Some also have padding across the back – this can provide added comfort but more importantly lumber support
- When packing – put the heavy items at the bottom and the light items at the top to help balance the weight and reduce strain on the shoulders
Here are just a few really nice backpack suggestions to choose from and they all come with Free Shipping.
