Monday Moments with Apple Recipes
The cooler air is finally here in Florida. Well, the 80’s are finally here in Florida and drier air. If you live in Florida, you know what I mean about 80 degrees and very low humidity. I actually enjoy going outside and doing some work. And I would really love to go to one of those places where you can “Pick Your Own” pumpkins or apples. Something we lack here in the deep south. But I can still buy my apples at the market provided by our neighbors from the north. And I wanted to pass along some great recipes to try with them this apple season.
Cookies are so easy to transport, great finger food and just plain good for a quick snack without over doing it. These Apple Pie Oatmeal cookies look so yummy and Amy’s Healthy Baking blog shows you how to make these for under 100 calories each.
I love apple pie but oh my its a little time consuming to make. So how about Apple Pie Bites from The Blonde Cook. Really easy to make and wouldn’t this be good with a little bit of ice cream on the side.
This bread makes my mouth water just looking at the picture. Awesome Country Apple Fritter Bread is a recipe that I make this time of the year. The Baking Chochola Tess has the recipe waiting for you to try too.
And how about something to make in the crock pot. Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Crisp is tops on my list of easy apple recipes to make. And the smell while its cooking. Oh my. Fake Ginger has this recipe ready for you print out and try at your next dinner.
Enjoy,
Tammy
