Just Some Ramblings & More!

I’ve been told I love to ramble on, so why not pass along some of my ramblings from this past month to all of you!

I was scrolling the world wide web and found this adorable table setting. The author actually made this for Mother’s Day but oh, how it could be used spring through summer. I love the garden theme to it! I loved how she took an old oil lantern and used the bottom for a flower vase! And those placemats are simply felt cut out to look like flowers! Those small terracotta pots could be used for so much! Be sure to check out Michelle’s post to see more about this table setting and how she made it!

What I’m watching & listening to

🎥 I watched American Manhunt: The Boston Bomber and was just pulled into this story. I now have high respect for the city of Boston and what they went through those days after the bombing. Very well-done documentary on Netflix. Be sure to pay attention to the guy who was in his “brand new” car when the bombers jumped in his car. He actually gave me a chuckle, but hate this happened to him.

🎥 I watched The Queens Gambit and couldn’t stop! I’m not a real big chess fan, well, actually, it’s rather boring. Anyway, this was a great series and Anna Taylor Joy played a wonderful part! Based in the ’60s, the music and clothing were top-notch. Sadly, there won’t be a second season on Netflix. 😥

🎶 Even though I love crime drama BUT, give me a good garden podcast and I’m there. If you read Southern Living magazine, you know who the Grumpy Gardener is. Love him!! He has started a new podcast called Ask Grumpy. I listen to him on iHeart radio. They are very short podcasts and great advice.

🎶 If you love the 70s and 80s playlist, check out Spotify. I’ve listened to channels from Pandora, Amazon, and Sirius. But, Spotify seems to have the best selection.

I would love to hear your suggestions for crime podcasts to add to my list.
