Just Some Ramblings

I’ve been told I love to ramble on, so why not pass along some of my ramblings from this past month.

October is almost done and I am gearing up for Thanksgiving. Our family isn’t that large, but Thanksgiving seems to be our favorite holiday. Everyone sitting around the table, being thankful and blessed, and enjoying a good meal. I’ve always wanted to have a meal with a fireplace in the room and this Thanksgiving scene really inspired me. I love graphic t-shirts but I’m a bit picky about the ones I wear. This is just too cute for the fall season. It’s not really gaudy and I love the colors. Cute country fall shirt. Check them out HERE and they are on sale too.

Announcement

This will be my last Rambling Post until 2023 because the last Thursday of the month in November is Thanksgiving and in the last 2 weeks in December, I like to relax with my family and take some time off from blogging.

I can’t wait to get back to more rambling in January 2023!

what I’m watching

🎥 I started watching THE CROWN over on Netflix and I saw on social media that season 5 of The Crown will be available to watch on Netflix on November 9th. The official trailer just came out and I can’t wait to see this season.

🎥 I FINALLY watched the movie, Elvis. We had a free preview of HBO Max and it was on there. I took advantage of not having to pay $20 to see it on Prime. I was not disappointed!! I loved every minute of that movie and I’m so glad about all the information that came out about Tom Parker. Elvis has been the only singer to give me goosebumps. Especially, when he sings his gospel music. I hope the younger generation appreciates what he did for rock n’ roll music.

🎥 I also watched Where the Crawdads Sing on Amazon after I finished the book. It was so good and I enjoyed it immensely. It followed the book but as always, the book always gives your brain more of a picture than the movie does.

🎥 If you are a fan of Sweet Magnolias, then get ready for this news. Season 3 is in the works and filming as I write this post. But no release day has been scheduled on Netflix. I love this series and Season 2 ended on a big cliffhanger. If you haven’t watched this series before, it’s a sweet account of 3 gals who have grown up together and how they help each other out with all the troubles they encounter in their lives.

🎥 While looking for something to watch the other day I found Martha’s Gardens with Martha Stewart. I love her gardens! She always has great advice about growing anything. If you have a Roku device, you can find all her shows on the Roku Channel now to enjoy.
