Charming fall tablescape ideas for your holiday meals using vintage, thrifted, or what you have in your own collection.
Growing up, my mom always made the effort to set a beautiful table for the holidays. Especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Over the years, she had collected so many items from her grandmother and mother and her own collection.
Now all the beautiful items she had have been passed on to me. But, I have a hard time setting a really special table. So, I needed inspiration and I would like to share what I found.
Michael from Inspired Charm has given me so many ideas in the past. He is so creative!! I love this vintage set table outside using items he thrifted. I love the outdoor string lights over this cozy area of his home. If you love DIY, be sure to stop by his website.

Don’t have that much to set out for a beautiful tablescape? Then how about a beautiful centerpiece? You could use anything for a vessel and then local flowers that have a fall look. I love cheap grocery store flowers. A spikey flower frog will really help keep your flowers in place. Sunflowers are an absolute must for this centerpiece. I have learned that messy placement of the flowers looks best.
I’m all about simple and I quickly fell in love with this tablescape. Simple linens, dishes, and centerpieces. Thats it! I have neutral placemats and napkins that I use often. They go with everything. I also love the idea of brass-looking votive candle holders going down the middle of the table.
Don’t have much to make a tablescape? I love this example that has just a few items on a cute farm-style dining table. Those cute little pumpkin bowls with simple plates and lines. A few candles and faux leaves and you are set!

Let’s not forget the little ones. They should have a table decorated by them for them. I love this post because all the items were purchased at the Dollar Store!! The napkin rings are hand made and the placemats are to draw on. Just adorable!
Mr. G and I will be having a cozy table for two setting on the lanai this year since we now have furniture out there. I can’t wait to enjoy Thanksgiving this year!
