Découpage is an easy and very inexpensive decorative way to decorate something old or something you want to spice up a bit. Let’s get fall going!
Decoupage is one of the easiest ways to create a unique piece of art for any season. It is also perfect for giving an out-of-date piece a trendy makeover. More than once!
You can do these easy crafts with your friends, children, and grandchildren. All you need is just a few supplies and a little (or no) crafting experience or expertise. Are you ready to make these?
This type of craft project is pretty straightforward and so easy to do. I love using paper napkins and so easy to find. With so many patterns, you have an endless supply of patterns to choose from.
basic supplies
- Mod Podge
- Paper Napkins
- Printed Paper
- Paint Brush or Sponge Brush
That’s it when it comes to supplies to découpage basically anything. I have found really cute napkins at Goodwill, thrift stores, party supply stores, and Walmart.
Enjoy all the different fall découpage ideas below to inspire you to make for the upcoming season.
This is such a simple-looking wooden pumpkin block idea but so cute! I also love that tray!
Even though this really isn’t a fall look, I wanted to show you this glass jar mod podge craft and by using a fall-themed napkin, you can make this project your own.
Even though this looks like a glass jar project, it’s actually a plastic jar craft using a fall theme.
And this post is about how to decoupage on clay pots! One of my favorite items to use with napkins. Perfect for a plant to give as a gift.
I love the look of these cute little pumpkins using old book pages. I could see using different colored book pages for this project too.
This post is a must to just go and see all the different examples of mod podge pumpkins for fall. I love the one above for Halloween.
Another cute example for pumpkins. I love using sticks and burlap for the stem and leaves.
If you love the vintage look like I do, these mod podge pumpkins are perfect for you. I love the one with butterflies. These were made with scrapbook paper.
For something a bit different, these pumpkins were made with fabric and mod podge was used to seal them to the pumpkin.
A few more mod podge cloth-covered pumpkins idea. Love the touch of the leave and twine.
If you are wanting to decorate your pumpkins to stay with the color of your decor, be sure to check out this post. These pumpkins are just beautiful!
One more beautiful example of a pumpkin that isn’t totally covered with découpage and using tissue paper. So pretty!

These are all such fun ideas! I haven’t done decoupage since I was a kid. These would be fun to try out.
I love decoupage, it is such a satisfying craft. I also enjoy it with fabric instead of decoupage paper.
I am new to Découpage Art, but totally loving what I see here, the pieces are so unique and almost get a fresh breath of air and life into them
I love what you’ve done with decoupage here! I have never really tried it, but I love these fun fall pieces. Visiting from Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop.
I love the glass jars but I may have to try my hand at a pumpkin, as well. Thanks for sharing.
