This list of must-have air fryer accessories will help make cooking easier and make you love it even more.
Air fryers are so versatile, but did you know about all the accessories to help put your fryer over the top? I think air fryers have become essential in most kitchens today. Don’t you? I know in our home that cooking without all that extra fat is giving us a healthier lifestyle.
Even though I haven’t had my air fryer very long, I figured out quickly that I would need a few extra accessories to make my life easier. Especially when it came to cleaning up. Even though you aren’t frying, there is still grease involved after cooking.
My air fryer
Even though this is a recent purchase, I have been using it almost every day now. I can’t figure out why I didn’t buy one a long time ago. The reason I chose the COSORI Air Fryer is from all the reviews and comparison videos I used for research and the COSORI came out on top. I love the “shake” notification feature it gives you since a lot of items you cook in an air fryer need to be shaken halfway through the cooking process.
There are 2 different sizes and I choose the smaller size for just the 2 of us and it works perfectly. It’s not so large or heavy if you don’t want to keep it on your counter. Mine sits in my pantry cabinet until I’m ready to use it.
Secret – If I had to do it over on my purchase, I would’ve gotten the red one. I just love that bright red color. The white is beautiful too.
Silicone Pads
It didn’t take me long to figure out I needed a silicone mat for the bottom of my basket. I had seen several pictures where the basket had scratched terribly on so many brands of air fryers. There is no issue with airflow using the mats and they clean up easily.
I’ve been using these oil spritzers for some time now when I cook and they are perfect for the air fryer too. I will spritz the top of the food before cooking to make them even more crispy. Mine have never clogged up with oil and I just throw them in the dishwasher when they need cleaning.
TIP – Using cooking spray isn’t recommended at all. I’ve seen horrible pictures of air fryer baskets that won’t come clean after cooking with cooking sprays. It makes such a terrible crust on the basket and that’s why I only use olive oil in my spritzer.
Paper Liners
My next purchase may be these disposable liners. I’m torn between these and the silicone basket below. They have great reviews and clean up is simply throwing them away when you are done. I could see the kids using these and mom won’t have to worry about a mess later. There are several sizes of these, so make sure you check for your air fryers’ size.
Silicone Basket
I have read a couple of reviews saying the paper liners have burned. So, with that in mind, would this silicone basket be a better choice? I can see just throwing this in the dishwasher and being done with it.
Air Fryer Cheat Sheet
I have one of these from my Instant Pot and love it. Since I’m new to all things air fryers, a cheat sheet would work wonders. It’s magnetic and would stick to the side of the air fryer too. They are waterproof and easy to clean off if something splashes on them. With over 13,000 reviews, it sounds like a great product.
6 piece set
I’m not sure I would use any of these items in this 6 piece set, but you never know. The pans seem like they would be useful for baking desserts or breads. The pizza pan would be a must for most households thought. Lots of good reviews on this set also. Has anyone used any of these? I would love to hear what you use them for.
I would love to hear from all of you if you have had any kind of experience with these accessories and which ones you like or love. Let me know of any accessories you use that you suggest also that aren’t on this list.

I have an air fryer, and I’ve been looking to expand my cooking. Thanks for all of these great items!
and oil spritzer and liners would be my two favorite accessories. I love being able to get that nice golden deep fryer crisp by using and oil spritzer over using a vat of grease. And the liners make clean up a breeze!
Love this post! I just finally got an air fryer and I have no accessories, haha. Thanks for sharing 🙂
I think I would need those silicone mats and baskets. I just got an air fryer for Christmas and I don’t want scratches on it.
Accessories? I’m kinda jealous. I have a airfryer built into an oven I have and it doesn’t have all these cool accessories.
