Spring is right around the corner and it’s time to update the Master Bedroom. Let me show you how easy it is to do this with Country Door decor products.

It has been 16 years since I have done anything to our master bedroom. I think most of us seem to ignore our bedrooms because the kitchen and living spaces are used by more people. 

I was so glad when Country Door contacted me to partner with them to show off their new spring decor line of items. So, I knew this was the perfect time to brighten up our drab master bedroom.

If you love anything country or farmhouse, then it’s a must to have at least one quilt in your home. And this log pattern quilt with all the beautiful spring flower patterns and colors was the perfect choice for my bedroom. 

This close up of the quilt shows all the different beautiful floral patterns and if you get tired of this side, just flip it over to enjoy a solid pattern of flowers. It’s like getting 2 quilts in one. The Augusta Oversized quilt comes in full/queen and king size and is washable. Perfect for families today. I love that it’s oversized and hangs nicely on the sides of the bed. Perfect for the higher beds folks have.  The shams come in standard size.

I accented the bed with a rustic flour-sack Farmhouse Pillow which matched the quilt perfectly with its shades of gray. I foresee this pillow will show up throughout other areas of my home.

Since I only had one set of king sheets that were a taupe color, I needed to grab some new ones. I love 500-count cotton sheets that only get softer the more you wash them. I also needed a new bed skirt since the railing is metal and isn’t attractive to just have the quilt on the sides of the bed.

And check out this adorable Bunny pillow!! It also looks so cute with this quilt but I can see this in any nursery. Perfect for spring time!

The long pillow on the cedar chest was made by me. I took ticking material and an old embroidered table cloth that was given to me by my great-grandmother. The tablecloth was in bad shape with stains and holes. So, I cut off the best part of it and made a long pillow. Problem is, I never had a place to put it. Now I do and I love how it looks.

The cedar chest was a gift to my mom when she got married. The cedar smell in it is still so strong. It was a really bad shade of yellow that I can’t even describe when she gave it to me and Mr. G refinished it several years ago and I love the way it looks now. Works so well with the new decor.

My next project in the room is to repaint it a lighter color and put up curtains.
