These dreamy porch inspirations will inspire you to re-imagine your porch and make it your very own peaceful retreat, no matter the season.
I’ve lived in my home now for almost 20 years and have a 40′ x 15′ enclosed lanai that I really haven’t done anything to. Mr. G and I have been doing small projects around the home to update it to keep it nice for the future to sell.
So, this year, we are working on our lanai which will probably go into 2024. The only thing we have done is get new patio furniture (shown above) and get rid of the things we don’t want anymore. There really wasn’t much out there, so that was an easy job. I knew I wanted a neutral color and use pillows and other items for color in that area. I love using pillows for seasonal decor.
When it cools off this winter, we will do the floors. Our idea right now is to paint the concrete floor to look like tile from this inspirational post.
I needed decor inspiration and headed to Pinterest to help me out. I found so many ideas that I just had to share them with you. Maybe you may see some inspo for your own patio.
I love this cute area on a porch. The baskets on the wall really make a statement and I love how the blue and tan work so well together.
What I love about this porch is the fireplace mantel. This is something I would love to do in my porch area. I have a small free-standing electric heater on the lanai and a mantle will just look perfect around it. Love this inspiration.
What I love about this patio/porch is all the different furniture and textures used to make this look. I’m a fan of wicker but that day bed is just so cute!
What I love about this patio/porch area is how she took a plain concrete slab and made it into a great outdoor living space. I will try her way of painting the concrete slab to look like faux tile. Something Mr. G and I can do ourselves.
Oh, I could eat every meal out on this patio. I just love the chandelier above the table, those beautiful wicker chairs, and that large wooden table. That wonderful galvanized bucket with pink peonies is just stunning.
Can we talk about the use of color on this porch? You can find every bright color used here and it just screams summer! I love that cute round table with the rattan tray on top.

I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!

Your patio ideas are very cool, fun, and look relaxing. If I had any of them, I would be entertaining almost every weekend. You honestly just re-sparked my dream of owning a home (despite current economic conditions making it harder for a young person like me). Thank you for sharing.
Our friend’s new house has a huge lanai, and they have it set up similar to the first picture. It’s such a cozy and welcoming space! I love that you don’t need to worry too much about rain getting in, but you still have the benefit of being outdoors.
OMGoodness all of these are so beautiful. I’m in the process of doing my patio area and just received my new rug and patio set. I’m looking forward to working on our lanai, I want it to be a cozy space where I can just relax all day..

These are all so gorgeous! I need to update my lanai too, but in Florida I need to pick out heartier plants and sunproof cushions
I love your patio set up. I’d love to add flowers to my deck but with the heat they would likely fry. I live in TX.
