Sharing my favorite top-rated cleaning supplies that I love to use and actually make cleaning, not a chore.
I will be the first to confess. I hate cleaning! And finding items that make that chore easier, I’m all for it.
I know everyone has their own tried-and-true cleaning products that you always keep on hand, but I’m here to introduce you to some cleaning products that may be new to you and deserve to be praised.
Not much to say about cleaning supplies, so let’s get to it.
The Pink Stuff
I know this isn’t new to basically anyone, but this is such a great cleaner that doesn’t scratch. I’ve used it on marble, the glass door on the oven, the porcelain kitchen sink and so many other places. With over 100,000 reviews, you can’t go wrong with this cleaner.
Scrub Daddy Sponge
There are scrubbing sponges and then there is the Scrub Daddy sponge. I seriously thought this was a fad, but found one at the store and gave it a try. That was several months ago and I’m still using the same one. The picture above shows how used it is and still going strong. What I love the most about these sponges is that they don’t smell after using them over and over. All the other cleaning sponges that I used would smell so bad after a while. I will wash it in the dishwasher every once in a while to give it a good cleaning.
I also use the Scrub Daddy sponge with the handle in the shower to clean the glass and walls. I use the spray version of The Pink Stuff, spray all over the walls and glass, and let Scrub Daddy do its stuff. The handle really makes this job a lot easier. You can also add liquid cleaners to the handle.
The black heavy-duty shower hook is a dream too and it doesn’t fall off the wall. Let me just say having something fall off the shower wall in the middle of the night and band on the floor will add a few years to your life! 😂
Invisible Glass Cleaner
I’ve been a Windex user for so long and then I switched to plain vinegar. Vinegar works ok on windows and mirrors, but it streaks so badly sometimes and a lot of times doesn’t cut grease very well. So when I saw this Invisible Glass Cleaner work on windows, I had to try it and was so pleased with how well it cleans with no streaks.
Microfiber Cleaning Cloths
If it wasn’t for my mom, I would’ve never heard of microfiber cloth. She had bought several of them and gave me a couple. Oh my, they are a game changer when it comes to cleaning glass or mirrors. No lint or streaks were left behind when using the Invisible Glass cleaner too. I also love that they are reusable and machine washable. No more wasting paper towels.
Mr. Clean Eraser
These little pads really clean places like around door knobs where dirt accumulates from hands. I always try these pads on an area that won’t clean with anything else. They are a powerful cleaning tool and have one in every bathroom, in the garage and under the kitchen sink.
Cleaning Car Windows Tip
To clean off that nasty film on the inside of your front car window, take a damp Mr. Clean Eraser and wipe down the inside front window and then dry with a microfiber cloth. Then clean the window again with the Invisible Glass Cleaner. Best way to get rid of that greasy slim that accumulates on the window.
Affresh Dishwasher and Garbage Disposal Tablets
I have an older dishwasher and garbage disposal. With age, you know how your appliances just start looking dingy or smell. The dishwasher had stains (looked like rust) on the inside of the door that I wasn’t ever able to get rid of. Even after using the Magic Eraser. The first time I used the dishwasher Affresh tablet, all those stains were gone and the inside of the dishwasher once again looked almost new. I use the tablet once a month now.
The same goes with the garbage disposal and it would smell. Using the tablets made the garbage disposal feel fresh again. I did use the garbage disposal Affresh tablets once a week for a month until the smell and the inside looked much cleaner than they did before. I now use it once a month.
There is also a version of the Affresh tablets for the washing machine, but I haven’t them yet.
Swedish Dish Cloths
I was skeptical about these Swedish cloths also when they started showing up on my social media, but once again, I had to give it a try. I love them! Mr. G loves them and that’s saying a lot. They are great for washing dishes, the sink, wiping off the counters, etc. They dry nicely and then simply put them in the washer and dryer to use again.
Leather Cleaner & Conditioner Wipes
We have a leather couch and chair and I wanted to keep them looking as good as possible, for as long as possible. I found these cleaner and conditioner wipes to really work nicely. Once a month I wipe the couch and chair down with one wipe.
Cordless Battery Power Scrubber
Even though I stated above that I hate cleaning, when I do clean I like to get in areas that most don’t. This little power scrubber is the best for that. I dip it in the Pink Stuff or use a little Zep Grout cleaner on an area and let that little scrubber clean in small areas that my fingers can’t.
Shark Robot Vacuum
I’ve had my robot vacuum for over a couple of years now and would be lost without it. Is it convenience and keeps me from pulling out the giant vacuum to drag around the house? Absolutely! I run it a couple of times a week and am so surprised to see all the dirt it picks up and we don’t have kids or pets! This vacuum is a very reasonable price at below $150 and doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles. But it cleans and that’s what’s important and one less thing I have to do.
Robot Vacuum Tip
I use the ION Robot Vacuum boundary tape in a couple of places in my home to keep the vacuum away from those areas. I know the new, very much more expensive vacuums can be programmed to miss areas, the tape is a much cheaper solution. Be sure to have extra filters available and replacing them over time will help the robot run much better.
Microfiber Duster
This little microfiber duster is a dream. I used to use the throwaway version duster, but I’m really trying to stop doing that, I love this reusable one and when really dirty, just throw it in the washer. I dust with a plant-based multi-surface spray on my furniture.
Goo Be Gone
Have a hard time getting stickers off of glass or any kind of sticky substance? Goo Be Gone is the BEST at taking anything sticky off of items. Glue, crayons, stickers, or tape. Over 23,000 reviews approve of this product.
Dust Cleaning Gel
I just found out about this dust gel and it does what it says it’s supposed to do. Perfect for keyboards and areas in your car where it’s hard to clean. It picks up so much out of gaps and cavities and smells good too! It’s not sticky on your hands either. When the gel gets really dark and dirty, just throw it away. But, it does last a long time.
Cleaning Savings Tip
I have been buying my cleaning supplies in bulk on Woot.com for some time now. The prices are great and they offer many other items as well. Just sign up to receive their daily emails on sales. The sales usually only last a day, so you will have to be quick. You can use your Amazon login with this website.

Many of these cleaning products are already my favorites, like ecloths. I do need to try that smiley sponge.
I agree with the Pink Stuff. That stuff works wonders. I have gotten so many things super clean with it.
Thanks for sharing these products, I have to add some of these items to my cart.
Can’t wait to add some of these products to my cart! I love the scrub sponge
I’ve heard the pink stuff works on hard to remove stains. Of course, can’t leave out the benefits of a scrub daddy either.
These are all really great and interesting cleaning products! I’m gonna check out some of these
I love that you touched on so many great products that I have heard about. And I had no idea they make a Goo Gone Spray, must have!
I am a HUGE fan of the Mr. Clean eraser! I didn’t know about the Affresh tablets. I definitely will be trying those out!
Mr. Clean Eraser because it is a versatile cleaning tool that can help remove stains and marks on various surfaces in the house, including walls, floors, countertops, and appliances. Children can sometimes leave marks or stains on walls, floors, or furniture, and the Mr. Clean Eraser can quickly and easily remove them without the need for harsh chemicals or excessive scrubbing.
So, I used to love to clean. And now, not so much. But I love cleaning supplies and finding new ways to make old jobs easier. Your post is full of things I have never heard of or tried. Might get that spring cleaning done after all!! Thank you.
