How to make a crustless pizza

I will list how I layer out my crustless pizza, but this can be anything you want. You could make it all veggie or just a few toppings. It’s completely up to you.

I used ground beef and ground sausage. After browning the meat, I would put it in a metal colander and then rinse all the fat off and let drain. You don’t have to do this step, but it keeps the pizza from being so greasy.

I then laid out all the other items I wanted on my pizza. Mozzarella cheese, onion, green peppers, pepperoni, black olives, and shredded parmesan cheese. You could also add whatever other cheese you like too.

I used spaghetti sauce but you could use your favorite low-sugar pizza sauce that comes in a jar. I do like to sprinkle a bit of Italian seasoning on one layer to give a bit more pizza flavor since I use spaghetti sauce.

what pan to use

I have made this in my 10″ skillet and I’ve made it in a ceramic casserole dish. It really depends on how much I am going to layer. Either way, it cooks up nicely because basically, all you are doing is heating up all the ingredients.

I usually serve this with a side salad and it makes for a perfect low-carb or should I say, virtually no-carb meal.
