It never fails that some holidays sneak up on you and this year has been no exception for Mother’s Day. I was updating my May calendar and noticed this Sunday is Mother’s Day!!
Mom and I always go to our hangout, Olive Garden, and have lunch on Mothers Day. We just love that place. I called her today to set up our lunch date and she hasn’t been well for the past couple of week. Seems to bronchitis and she just can’t seem to shake it off. She is on another round of meds to see if this will help.
I just had so much on my mind these past few weeks, Mother’s Day slipped up on me and I decided to make my Mom a card to send her in the mail to help her feel a bit better. Cards and letters seem to put a smile on your face.
My hubby also wrote a really sweet poem for mothers day which could be made into a card or framed as a printable.
Click on the download link above to save the pdf file to your computer to print on card stock. The card is A6 size and you will have to trim the excess off the picture by cutting along the light gray lines, fold in half and you have the most perfect Mother’s Day card. I also use Kraft envelopes when I print out cards.
The poem is an 8 x 10 print which prints nicely on cardstock to add with a frame.
Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her – Proverbs 31:2

I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!
