I’m so excited to share with you my fall decorations for 2022! I love to mix vintage with new items and I hope my ideas will help inspire you too.
I thought I would take you on a quick tour of a few fall items I have in my home. Nothing really fancy and easy enough for anyone to do. Fall decor seems to tell me cozy and warm. So my decor stays pretty simple with traditional fall colors.
So grab something cozy to curl up in and let me show you my home decorated for fall.
Dining Room
I wanted to use some small wire wreaths on my dining room cabinet this year and found these which worked out perfectly. They come in 2 a package and don’t make a big statement. Just enough for the china cabinet. I also added the Publix Pilgrim salt & pepper shakers and a few small pumpkins I had inside the cabinet.
I have learned that one can never have enough pumpkins for fall decor! The mercury glass and wooden pumpkins were found at Home Goods last year. The wooden bowls were also my mom’s.
I brought this basket home from my mom’s house and filled it with different types of pumpkins and a faux fall leaf garland. Because the basket is so deep, I had to add wood pieces on the bottom to hold up the pumpkins. The velvet pumpkins, cream pumpkin, and wicker pumpkin can all be found at Michaels. The garland and wicker pumpkin on the left are finds I’ve had for a couple of years now.
Another item I brought from my mom’s house that is super easy to style is this cute metal stand with glass plates. The bottom is full of small pumpkins you can find anywhere. On the top shelf is a larger pumpkin and cream and acorn wire garland. Less than 5 minutes and you have this stand styled.
Kitchen
I usually don’t add much decor in the kitchen but decided to add a new vignette to the bar top. Even Mr. G said he really liked what I did and believe me when I say this, he is NOT into decor.
I used a silver pitcher which was a $1.00 yard sale find and added some wheat stems. I added a ceramic pumpkin on another wire garland with a couple of smaller ceramic pumpkins I had. I also added a vintage Carnival glass creamer, a brass candle stick holder, and a Pumpkin Weather scent candle to finish the look.
I love how this turned out. I picked up a frame at Goodwill and found a fall wall art that I had printed at Walgreens. Such an easy way to add fall to your home without breaking the bank. The little stacked pumpkins came from Michaels.
kitchenette
This area is what started all the fall decorations in my home. I used to just put out these quilted placemats years ago and maybe a little fall faux plant in the center. But, then I branched out.😊
I started out with this hefty wooden tray and just started adding vintage items I had. The McCoy brown pitcher, the orange and yellow tulip bowls, and the salt and pepper shakers are all vintage finds. The faux orange marigold stems are perfect for this pitcher. The mercury glass jar came from The Country Door but isn’t available anymore. And I finished off this vignette with small pumpkins, and a pumpkin spice candle I’ve had for a while.
bedroom
Not much changed in my bedroom because I really love this fall quilt and pumpkin pillow from The Country Door. It’s just enough for this room.
Front Porch
I decided to change out my olive bucket door hangers to these wicker hangers to display faux fall branches. I love how they look on the door. The pillow I had last year was destroyed by a squirrel. (Imagine that!) So, I found this cute fall pillow cover to replace the damaged one. The large pumpkin I have had for years is starting to fade. I’m wondering if I can paint it. I put a simple fall leaf garland around the base to hide the stand. The vintage galvanized watering can has been on the front porch now for years. One of my favorite finds.
That’s a wrap folks of my fall home tour!! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed decorating for fall this year and adding to what I already had! It’s been lots of fun and I have loved sharing it with you.
