I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!
Blog Prompt – Can you survive without e-mail? How has it changed your life?
Thats a good question. I was brought up in the “hand written letter” generation, so email was a bit different to get use to, but it didn’t take me long at all.
I use email so much for my business with orders and correspondence with a customer. It would be hard to give up email just for that reason. To actually write a letter to someone via email, I hardly do and prefer to send a hand written message. Heck, I don’t even like texting. I do love seeing all the instant pictures of my friends and family, which makes life very nice. And if I want to print out any picture, I can. The idea of instant gratification of email is also something you can’t look past.
I know my mom loves sending emails now. To find out what time her next golf tee time is, their next party, next time they play bunko or Mexican Train, etc. She lives in a retirement community and is always on the go and needs email for her scheduling.
