There are so many beautifully decorated trees out there. So lets look at ways to use what we may have and make whats under the tree just as pretty.
I’m not a big fan of “store bought” decorated rolls of paper and really prefer to use one color paper with a home made label and ribbon to tie it all together. I remember one year my brother wrapped all his gifts with newspaper and tied it with bright ribbon. I laughed because that was so him, but today, I think that’s such a great way to reuse paper. (He was so ahead of a trend and didn’t know it) Here are just a few examples of wrapping your gifts in a new way.
Basic black and white newspaper with the flowers also made from newspaper. I love how they added the evergreen and silver tinsel. So pretty!
My son the music teacher would love this idea of re-purposing old sheets of music.
Using cupcake liners for the decoration on a package is adorable!!
How about using old maps! I was cleaning out a closet not long ago and found a couple of old Atlas road map books. Perfect way to reuse them.
I love this idea!! Simple 1 color paper with the recipients picture on it. I could see children passing these out by looking at the pictures.
Just too cute for words!!
What is your favorite way to wrap your gifts and do you have any new ideas to share with us?
Have a wrapping day of fun,

I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!
