Spring means so much around our home. Since I don’t have a summer time garden and all our produce is from the spring, I love making dishes with all that spring time goodness you can pick yourself or get at the area Farmers Market. I found some new recipes to try with all that spring goodness. I can’t wait to try them.
Nothing says spring than pasta and veggies. Whole and Heavenly Oven has a nice recipe called Springtime Veggie Pasta Primavera. Yum!!
Freshly picked green beans are so good this time of the year. Mel’s Kitchen has the perfect recipe for green beans called Fresh Green Bean Salad with Balsamic Dressing.
Lets not forget a spring time veggie I have never grown called Asparagus, Tomato and Feta Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette. Cooking Classy’s pictures and recipe make my mouth water for asparagus.
You gotta have some kind of main course meat with all those spring time salads. How about Taco Lime Grilled Chicken by Closet Cooking. This sounds so fresh from the grill.

I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!
