I’m not a student, but I’ve lived on campus are most of my adult life. How does that possibly happen, you ask? Well, I’m professor at TXW and I absolutely love living close to my students so they can come to me if they ever have questions or concerns. In addition to that, living on campus is far less expensive than what I can find elsewhere. It’s just me, so I don’t need a huge house or anything fancyâ?¦ My campus apartment suits me just fine. Last year, my utilities seems to be getting a little out of control, so I spent some time researching TXU Energy rates and found that I was paying too much for electricity. While I was at it, I had someone come and change all the air filters which has dramatically improved the air quality in my small space. I love living in a tiny apartment as it means I don’t get cluttered down with stuff. All I need is myself, my dog, and a big comfy bed!
I’m just a country girl loving my geeky life with my wonderful husband, always taking pictures, getting my hands dirty in the garden, being crafty, exploring with travels and enjoying all this on a budget. But above all, living my faith as a child of God!
