A lot of people are beginning to say that their favorite sports network is something other than ESPN. How absurd. This is like someone saying they enjoy grapefruit more than grapes. Is it possible that someone enjoys grapefruit more than grapes? Yes. But it’s highly unlikely. Just like grapes are a favorite fruit of Americans, ESPN is the favorite sports network in America. I think people just like to root for an underdog. The only problem here is that no other network is even close to ESPN. The sports coverage, announcers, running stat line, and everything else is superior to any other channel. That’s why I watch ESPN on my Direct TV Packages every day. I watch it before I go to work during breakfast, once I get home to relax, and at night as a warm-up to that night’s sporting events.
My favorite shows on ESPN are NFL Live and NFL Primetime, but I also like NBA Live. While I’m not as much of an NBA fan as an NFL fan, I just can’t get enough of Charles Barkley. I used to hate him, but now I realize that he really adds to the show. He’s extremely entertaining and very brash, which for me go hand-in-hand. This is also a way for me to keep up to date with whatever is going on in the NBA.
