I’m a firm believer to keeping Christmas to a minimum. It seems we are losing what Christmas is all about.
Whether you are a believer or not, we started this glorious celebration of Christmas because of the birth of Jesus. I have thought many times over the years preparing, spending money I didn’t have and on December 26th just feeling empty. Don’t get me wrong. I love my time with family, especially the members who don’t live close by and oh my the wonderful food!! But I really love the idea now to make Christmas more meaningful and much less stressful!
I came across an interesting book the other day called Creating A Beautiful Little Christmas and just loved the idea of what this book is all about and couldn’t wait to start reading it. What great advice she gives and touches on so many topics. Recipes, giving gifts, fashion (I even learned a couple of things I could do for my minimal wardrobe), decorating, making traditions and how to handle family. Great advice for learning how to enjoy the holidays, instead of working the holidays. I know you will love this book!!
