Monday Moments with Thanksgiving Desserts

Did someone say desserts?  I never have to be asked twice if I would like something sweet after Thanksgiving dinner.  I love all the traditional pies served during the holidays, but sometimes, I love seeing recipes that might change things up.  Here are a few I found that I will soon be trying.

Monday Moments with Thanksgiving Desserts

If you have made any kind of poke cake, you know how easy they are.  If you have never made a poke cake, now is the time. Pumpkin Caramel Poke Cake just sounds good and Avery Cooks also has a video to show you just how easy this dessert is to make.

Pecan Pies are so good this time of the year, but can be a hassle to make and turn out too runny.  Don’t ask me how I know!  So, why not make Pecan Pie Bars.  Just a Taste shows you a solution for and easier version of the classic pecan pie.

My hubby picked out this recipe.  Anything with peanut butter in it, is a hit with him.  Life Made Simple has put sweet and salty together in a frozen pie.  Oh and lets not forget the chocolate graham cracker crust and all that chocolate goodness on top too.

I love making crisps and this Apple Crisp recipe is really good.  Apples are in season and if you are a beginner cook, try this recipe first.  Taste Better from Scratch also has a video to watch and learn from.

Enjoy,

Tammy
